Pure Malts Whisky & Cigar Event - Spirited Pairings Double Blinds

This Pure Malts Whisky Tasting is an in-person event that pairs some very special whiskies with curated cigar pairings. Karl Theobald, Amador Club Tobacconist, and James (Pure Malts) spent time putting together these pairings, and are super excited to share and talk about these! We call this event "Double Blinds" and here is how we did it: James gave Karl 3 "unlabeled" whiskies to choose from, and he then found a cigar that pairs best with one of those choices. Karl then gave James a carefully selected cigar, and James used that to go and find a whisky that he thought paired perfectly to elevate aromas and flavors of both. James doesn't know what the cigars are, and Karl doesn't know what the whiskies are. So you will have to trust us completely!
